Many Moons Ago (when the Worlds were one)

Eva’s piece Many Moons Ago (when the Worlds were one) is an acrylic painting on canvas, inspired by the ancient landscape of Britain and Eva’s native Finland, especially the Dorset hills and valleys, where white deer roam with the browns. The painting is a semi abstract depiction about the deeper connection to the Earth, our ancestry, creating a feeling of safety, openness and a the same time meditative connection to our timeless origins. Runic writing, birds, animal foot prints and some other beings show themselves to the observant viewer.

This painting can be displayed in landscape (biggest Moon on the right) or portrait position (biggest Moon below).
